In Office Infusion Therapy

For your convenience, our medical offices include an on-site infusion suite. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, comfortable furniture, and a television. Infusion therapy is a unique treatment method that delivers medication directly to damaged or diseased areas of the body for patients whose condition is so severe that it does not respond to oral administration. This type of treatment is often effective for patients with osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and more, and can help relieve pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints and muscles.

Infusion therapy most commonly involves intravenous drug administration, but potent drugs may also be rapidly delivered by to intramuscular or subcutaneous injections, depending on the type and severity of each patient's individual condition. The medication administered during treatment may consist of biologics, antibiotics, bone stabilizers or other types of medication. The Doctors in our office will customize your infusion therapy program based on your condition. Infusion treatments are provided in a comfortable infusion suite with the physician and nurses present.

In the past, patients undergoing infusion therapy were required to stay in an inpatient facility throughout the treatment process, making this treatment a costly and time-consuming endeavor. Now, patients can receive their infusion therapy in the office and avoid the need for an extended hospital stay. With our unique in-office program, patients are able to continue working and following their normal lifestyles while receiving the specialized care they need.

The doctor and staff at our office remain dedicated to minimizing the pain and discomfort felt by those suffering from autoimmune diseases. Though specialty care, careful monitoring, and a soothing environment, we strive to provide high-quality infusion services for the community.
